You’re never on your own when you foster with us. Our Team Parenting™ model ensures that you have instant access to all the training and support you need – right when you need it. Team Parenting™ is exactly what it sounds like. We work with you, as a team, to provide the best possible placement for a child or youth.

Whether you need social work support, educational support, therapist consultations or children and youth support, we’re on hand to offer you training, and guidance every step of the way.

Our excellent support doesn’t end there, though. With access to CarerNet, as well as our emergency out-of-hours contact, you can be sure of a helping hand should you ever need it.

We believe that fostering is what you make it. So, we’ll offer you the training and career development you need to get the best out of your journey. Whether you want to receive specialist placement training or develop your fostering skills further; our dedicated team are on hand to give you the support and guidance you need.

What training courses are available to me?

As a carer with us, you’ll be introduced to a wide range of courses. They’re held regularly at our Mississauga office and cover a variety of topics including:

  • Therapeutic Crisis Intervention
  • Identity and self-esteem
  • Substance Abuse
  • Medication
  • Young people and money
  • Safe Care/Safe Guarding
  • Attachment
