Whether you’ve been fostering for a few weeks or a few years, all of our foster parents need advice and guidance from time-to-time.
When you foster with us, your foster support worker is only ever a phone call away. They’re committed to supporting you whenever you need them.
Once approved, you will be assigned to one of our dedicated Foster Support Workers. All of our Foster Support Workers have a minimum educational qualification of a Bachelor of Social Work or Masters of Social Work. Their role includes:
All children and youth placed with our parents also benefit from the support of their own social worker; from the Children’s Aid Society. This dedicated social worker keeps in regular contact with the child throughout their placement, carrying out visits and making planning decisions.
