Open custody placements

Open custody placements involve foster parents caring for young people who have been sentenced by the courts.

Open custody placements at Key Assets Fostering are usually short term and require the foster parent to work very closely with youth corrections teams.

Could you offer open custody foster care?

Open custody placements require a high level of care and usually some experience with youth offending or care for complex needs. These placements are currently only being provided in Newfoundland and Labrador.
