Foster parents can draw on a wide range of expertise from their Key Assets Fostering Social Workers.

Our Social workers provide advice, guidance and support for all foster parents.

Every child or youth placed with Key Assets Fostering foster parents benefits from their very own Social Worker. These Social Workers will keep in touch with you as often as possible, making visits and offering someone to talk to.

Key Assets Fostering Social Workers

At Key Assets Fostering, your Social Worker will:

  • Remain in touch with you, your family and the young people in placement with you through visits at least once a month and regular telephone calls. 
  • Arrange for any additional support you require at any time. 
  • Support you in report writing and liaising with birth parents and other professionals. 
  • Offer foster parent training and help you to achieve your goals. 
  • Keep careful records of the progress of children placed with you.
