At Key Assets Fostering, we appreciate that promoting a positive and stable education can contribute to a positive outcome for a child or youth in our care.
By encouraging children and youth to maximize their learning potential, we know they will have more opportunities in employment or further education.
Our Education Liaison Officers act as a facilitator between children and youth and their schools.
That means that when a child is struggling in school, their Education Liaison Officer can advocate for them with school personnel. They can also arrange tutoring or alternative education.
Education Liaison Officers work with foster parents but they also work one on one with the child or youth, ensuring that any difficulties they experience with their education can be quickly and easily resolved where possible.
