Key Assets places a wide range of children who require foster care in Canada.

We are aware of the high volume of Aboriginal children and young people requiring foster care placements in Canada. Aboriginal children often have a strong cultural connection to their local area and community and, according to foster care statistics, a very low percentage of these children living off their reserves feel supported in their cultural heritage.

It is the goal of Key Assets Fostering to help keep many of these Aboriginal children in foster care within their own communities across Canada. However, where this is not possible, we are seeking foster parents in Northern Ontario and Southern Ontario to support and promote the unique cultural identity of these children and young people to prevent disruption wherever possible.
